I've spent my Sunday working at the wonderful world of Endsleigh contemplating on whether to get this thing up and running. My blogs are going to be pretty dull, most likely filled with tales of work and home life!!
I'm also the proud parent of my beautiful bunny boy Archameadies and the latest additions Tom, Dick and Harry our tiny turtles.
This weekend has been nice and chilled, even though I had to work today!
Friday night and the weekend began with Pauly Mac's leaving do in Cheltenham. Nami, Hayley and I stopped for a KFC before hand (nice and healthy) before heading to the pub with Claire. As we were eating our KFC the fattest couple you have ever seen walked in and I swear they had a bargain bucket each...their tray had enough food on to feed a family. The debate then started on how you ever end up being that fat and when do you reach the point and thing F**k, I'm a fat b****h. Interesting start to the night.
Looked absolutely hideous with no make up on just my tinted moisturiser and choice of top was not the smartest. The top is so nice though, over sized grey from H&M with a sequin design across the shoulder, however boobs did fall out all the time and my good friend Jo was on boob watch! Even with Jo's help some how the top still had a mind of its own and kept slipping down, good job I matched the bra to the top...always thinking ahead. Was lush to see Jo after she'd been on holiday for what seems like months, have missed her lots at work and can't wait to have her back tomorrow.
The light weight Lauren that I am was drunk after three pints of cider black and some how only managed to pay for one, always a good thing. To be honest I had a pretty good time, nice to chat in the pub rather then going out and not being able to stand straight, not that I do that often ;)
Highlight of the night has to go to Miss Claire Holdsworth. Claire's Dad was coming to pick her up at midnight (Cinderella much?) and after explaining to him about 12 times she just had to get some stuff out of the back of her car and that she wasn't really that drunk, she then proceeded to break in to someones Golf. She just stood there trying the boot and couldn't work out why her keys weren't working, hilarious. Claire drives a Peugeot 206 nothing like a Golf, don't think her Dad was to impressed!
So Hayley, Nami, Simon and I went to Maccy D's, second take away of the night and after dropping Simon home decided to throw our food out of the car window as driving...classy.
Got in at about midnight, wild I know....seriously wonder how I cope with such a hectic lifestyle. After attempting to get ready for bed and rang the boyf and somehow managed to convince him to come down and get in to bed with me after he finished playing poker.
I woke up at about 7am and he scared the shit out of me laying there, was completely unconscious when he arrived, good job he has a key!!!
Saturday morning surprisingly not hanging...think it would be hard to get a hangover after only drinking three pints!!!
SATURDAY + FAV = BAKING DAY
What did we decide to bake?? Well after watching every serious of "The Great British Bake Off" we decided to give macaroons a go....
To cut a long story short...it is not easy. After finally getting to Tesco, the first challenge was getting out of bed, and buying all the ingredients we got home and realised that we didn't have all the right amounts of stuff. So it started well.....
To be honest the finally product didn't look to bad
Dann however decided he didn't like macaroons so I doubt we'll be doing those again :( They are currently sat on a plate in the kitchen and will probably end up in the bin....oops.
After the baking session and Dann getting his hair cut by his lil' sis we then tried to stay up and watch the UFC but failed.
I woke up at 4 am to find Dann had fallen asleep with his hand on the laptop, laptop not even on anymore....we are wild.
Woke up pretty early this morning, Dann had county pool and I had work, joys!! Work was pretty dull as always and was pleased to get home. My boys were pleased to see me and I love it when they swim to the side of the tank to say hello, the little beauts.
Any ways, that is probably enough for me tonight it is way passed my bedtime and I still have washing to sort out exciting times.
Until next time....
XxX
